Hello Neighbors!

Our Annual Meeting is fast approaching and we’re hoping you’ll join us (and not just for the snacks and drinks we’ll be providing this year!).

Our goal is to provide you with useful information, give you a chance to meet your neighbors, share ideas for the neighborhood and voice your concerns. Since last year’s annual meeting, we started a website, cleaned the neighborhood, tried to positively influence the new Walmart development, wrote and distributed a neighborhood newsletter, sponsored neighborhood-wide yard sales and more!

PLEASE come to the Ladera West Neighborhood Association’s Annual Meeting, being held on Tuesday, September 22 from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Ladera Golf Course meeting room.

We’re planning on a nice meet-and-greet to start, followed by a short but very informative presentation about 3-1-1 from Ms. Esther Tennenbaum, Division Manager of 311 Citizen Contact Center. Did you know you can get large trash hauled, zoning questions answered, lost dogs reported and more through 3-1-1?

At the meeting we’re also going to vote on a minor bylaw revision (we’d like to add the position of Vice President to give the board even more support), and then have an open forum to give you the opportunity to voice your concerns and ideas for LWNA. We’ll also be collecting information about “handy”-people you know so we can start a list of folks who can do yard work, home repairs and more.

You can also share that information here:
